The Truth About Wraps....And Wrap Shops
The problem with most So Called "Wrap Shops" is that they don't control all the aspects of the wrap process. And most of what they do control is less than professional. For example, you call a shop and get a quote, then choose to go with them, most don't even do their own design, or if they do, they don't do their own printing, or if they do happen to do both of those steps, they don't do their own installs, they sub this out to a guy whom wraps for many little shops all around. He may or may not do a good job, but the link of quality control is lost if any one of those elements are not protected under one location.
Most shops buy the cheapest printer they can afford, this makes it most likely too small to do seamless wraps, and too low quality to print without banding and poor resolution. They don't laminate because they didn't spend the money to buy the lamintater, so they get a can of spray lamination and call it laminated and have the gaul to tell you it's laminated and is just as good as real lamination that is the same thickness as the material your wrap is printed on... that is another thing, the material they print on is the cheapest crap they can buy, has no real life expectancy. But yes, their bid was the cheapest...that’s why you chose them, Right?
Design is another thing. These guys buy a CD of large format backgrounds that thousands of shops just like his has bought and they throw your logo over it with a phone number and tell you they need the down payment.
I can go on, but let me tell you how I do it...
...First of all, I'll tell you I control everything about the wrap of your vehicle, from design to installation. And everything is done at one location by me and my Qualified, Certified, Professional staff. I spent the time and money to get trained by one of the best in the business, Wade Davis, whom not only is the the CEO of iGX Image Graphics 2000 in Miami, Florida, but the Vice President of the PDAA Professional Decal Application Association and UASG for 3M certification. I will not have some guy whom says he's an installer, come in and tell me how it's done. I know the amount of preparation work that should be done and the proper way things should be planned and executed. No Short Cuts. I train my own install crew where we do the install 50 foot from the design staff and the printers that print the wrap, and the laminators that laminate the wrap. The installation team works with the design team from the beginning ...That is Control, that is Pride, that is how it's done RIGHT.
Texoma Wraps will not be the cheapest quote you get, if we are, it's not because we tried to be.
